Today sorting is mostly done by hand, by eye.
In incubation, an unfertilized or early-dead egg takes up space in the machine, gets heated for nothing, and when it rots and bursts it contaminates the healthy eggs next to it. Today this sorting is mostly done by hand, by holding the egg up to the light. Subjective, slow, person-dependent.
Reading in three stages.
Light passes through the egg, the inner signals are read, and the result comes in a few seconds.

It passes light through the egg and reads the vascularization and embryo inside.
Movement and pulse
It captures the live embryo’s movement and heartbeat signal.
Result
Live, dead or empty. In a few seconds, without breaking the shell.
The most reliable result is between days 7 and 14.
The most reliable result is obtained between days 7 and 14 of incubation. In this window the producer removes dead and empty eggs early, frees space in the incubator, and prevents rot and contamination.
